My truck came with a 360/C6, but has been changed over to a 351 and now a small block C6. I need either a new bracket or Shift linkage. Where can I get It? The linkage they had went to the AOD. There was a bracket for it, but it does not seem to fit the C6, unless I am missing something?
Can the parts be bought new for this? I need the brackets for the shifter to hook up to.
The bushings (7341) are available from Ford, everything else is as obsolete as the dodo bird, but...
Mike may be able to find the parts NOS (New Old Stock) at a FoMoCo Dealer or obsolete parts vendor.
NOTE: Basic part numbers are only shown in pics, the text section of the parts catalog is required to get the complete part number.
7341 and etc are basic part numbers, 57646-S is a standard (hardware) part number. Standard parts may have additional numbers after the S that are not shown in pics.
Mike:
D5AZ-7341-A replaced by EOBZ-7341-B = MSRP each: $4.11 / FTE Ford Dealer Parts Dept sponsor PARTSGUYED.COM price each: $2.95.
There are many different styles of shift levers that go in the trans, depending what it was in origionally.
That is the problem. The truck came with a 360/C6 and was changed over to a small block 351/AOD and then I took the bad AOD out and have put a small block C6 in it.
