another heater question

While I wait for a vacuum switch to to arrive to go behind the dash (defrost blows constant, no detents felt in climate switch) is there something I can do under there manually to direct radiator water into the heater core and get some heat; disconnect a vacuum hose etc? thanks

Wondering if I remove the vac motor in the hose between the heater core and the pump and put a hose barb there, should I get heat?

Remember that they advise to use vacuum to open/close these doors to avoid damaging the controllers. Sorry for the large pics. So you can read the small print....

If you can't pm me a good addy and I will send them to you email

Well, to get heat, I manually operated the vacuum valve in the heater hose so at least I wont freeze to death while I wait for the vacuum switch. Defrost blows warm to hot now, temp control works.
