262 Block Heater
Did Ford ever install a factory (or dealer) block heater for a 262 in a 1964 F100? If so, what is the part number? Napa doesn't even list the 262 OR 223 in their book (I assume they would be the same?) Was the 262 ever used in another application?

you need to measure the diameter of the freeze plug that it would go in a purchase the appropriate unit. A better unit for this case would be a oil pan heater blanket.
The 223 and 262 do not share the same block.
262 was available in F series trucks as a option from 61 to 64.

C5AZ-6026-G .. Core Plug-Cup Type-Clean out holes in block and head / 2.078" O.D.
Applications: 1964 223/262 I-6 / 1965 240/300 I-6 ~ NOTE (1) used at rear of block only, no where else / 1968/74 240 I-6 & 1968/79 300 I-6.
The block heater was available at the parts counter or as a dealer installed accessory.
The only block heater kit part numbers I can find, are for FE engines, or 1976 and later 300 I-6's. Both are 600 watts.
