I have a 2000 f-250 when cold you turn the key on to cycle the glow plugs it only stays on for about 3 seconds then shuts off after you cycle 3 or 4 times you can finaly get it to start runs fine until you shut it off and go back to start it and the glow plug light comes on for 2 to 3 seconds and it shuts off but this time it will not start at all unless you put some gas on a rag and put it in front of the intake runs great when it is running any info would be great thanks

If by "glow plug light" you mean the Wait To Start light it does not indicate that the GPR is operated. It is just a timer. You need to use a VOM or test light to be sure voltage is passing through the GPR to the GPs.
