97 7.3 hard starting

i just replaced all glow plugs and i checked the relay to glow plugs for proper volts, everything good there what i need to know is where the sensors for air and oil are....my wait light is only staying on 5seconds in 20 degree temp...so without timers like before i thibk its telling the wait light its warmer than it actually is?

The glow plug relay is a common and easy fix for most hard start problems. Does the voltmeter go down when you first start it? You can leave the glow plugs on longer after the wait to start light goes off, I usually wait 15-20 seconds when I first start it. The glow plugs will stay on for up to 2 minutes after you start the engine, depending on how cold it is.

like foreman said just cause the light goes ou doesnt mean they are not on. if its really cold turn your key on and wait 30 seconds. if it still starts hard you may wanna take a look at replacing the gpr.
