No Power SES light on running out of things to check

I have a 99 f350 with a 7.3 I have been checking everything that I can read on here to check.

Problem passengers side injectors are not firing

I have ohm the just about everything that people on here have posted to check the only bad reading I get is one of the injector solenoids reads 4.0 ohms but I swapped solenoids and it stays with the same injector, took gasket out and ohm all connections which seemed to be ok

Question Can the injector itself give a bad ohm reading otherwise what else can I check

i dont think so.
dose the solenoid ohm bad on it or when checked from the harness?
sounds like a bad connection or loss wire.

When I ohm the solenoid when it is on the injector and going through the harness it gets 4.0 if I take it off the injector it reads 3.1

So are you thinking it is a connection on the valve cover gasket

Either the pass thru connector on the valve cover gasket or the wiring itself. Try using the meter to check the wiring itself. Wiggle the wires while watching the ohm reading from one end of the wire to the other to see if there is any continuity issues.

Try unplugging the suspect solenoid and see if the other 3 injectors begin working again. You can start the engine with the valve cover off while you look for oil dischsrge at each injector. Sometimes a bad solenoid will take out the entire bank.

Well I just tried a new valve cover gasket harness with no luck

I guess I should look at getting a different IDM?????

The problem would come and go would a IDM going bad run good sometimes and bad other times?

I also tried unplugging the injector that was giving a 4.0 ohm reading and switched solenoids from drivers side to passenger side with no change

I would say IDM. My fathers '97 only fired on 1 bank last year, was IDM.

my e99 did the same thing started off just now and then and then it just went. ohm'd everything, all good, while i was in it done the .50 mod replaced idm and was all good. for the sake of i would look at the harness all the way to the idm just make sure you don't have a place rubbed in it if i remember corectly mine had started rubbing at the driver valve cover caught it before it was a problem
