Georgia. There pretty bad here too I see them all the time and they get pickups too. But when I unhook the trailer and leave it on the job I'm a lot less likely to get pulled over on the way home or going to Lowe's. I've been hauling one way or the other for about 15 years and have been stopped a dozen times but not in a pickup yet.

If you want to do the torque cam I will get it to you at the old price 189.00 exchange, since you actually work your truck. the new price is going to be 210.00 but the grinder hasnt upped my cost yet so???

I would like you to check your timing and put in the cam then reset the same and see what the butt dyno feels like.

when this grind was done for the gm diesel it had an 11% increase on the dyno hp and torque.

Type4 I have no idea what you mean by reset the same and see what the butt dyno feels like.

Sorry but i have fixed a lot but have never built for modified and engine beyond trying to keep some old piece of junk on the road with parts that weren't made for it cause the right ones don't exist anymore.

Could you explain what your resetting and what you mean by what the butt dyno feels like.

Injector pump timing> all things being equal if the settings are the same before and after the cam change you should feel a difference, if you pay attention to what your truck pulls like in what gears,

As long as there's a difference I will feel it. I have driven equipment all my life and have gotten use to the way a motor sounds and feel and usually hear or feel something before its noticeable enough for a mechanic too.

The best thing you can do for the money is find a used turbo kit. Factory ATS kits can be had for around $500. Next is the injector pump, DPS can get you a Turbo cal pump for $450 or you can hold out for a moose pump whenever Mel gets his operation up and running again. Studs should be the the VERY next thing to purchase, I personally wouldnt run a turbo without them.

If you are N/A, all the mods in the world arent going to equal with a stock ATS setup is going to net you, so Id save the cams and exhaust upgrades til after you have a turbo on your engine...

I am the other way around, I would do the exhaust upgrade immediately, If I think I am going to turbo it, it will be a single exhaust.
When you install a turbo you have to upgrade the exhaust, might as well get the exhaust benifit from day one.
