(-) Door Trigger for Remote Start/Alarm?

Sorry bud - I forgot about this the other day.
On my alarm/remote start system there is no (-) input listed - it has (+) input for open door trigger. There is 12v at the wire when the door is open and the interior lights are on.
I guess that's not what you're looking for then - sounds like your alarm system may be wired slightly differently........sorry it wasnt more help.
