Looking at having a delete kit installed in my truck. Was quoted 600 to 700 bucks for a Sinister delete kit and labor to install it. I didn't think that was to bad at all. What are you guy's thoughts??
doesnt seem too bad, not sure what kind of tools you have but you could save like $300 by doing it yourself just wait for the weekend and start friday night, I cant remember how much the kits are I think around $300 but you should do the oil cooler aswell if your that deep into the top of the engine
hey if you do it yourself the $300 ish saved could be that new oil cooler kit too!! haha
but seriously if your up to it, there are quite a few good videos on youtube that even walk you through doing it theres one guy I think his user name is like srmastertech and he has a bunch of good videos
I could do it but the time thing is an issue as I work 50 to 60 hour weeks and the weekends are always filled as well. figured I could drop it off in the morning and pick it up at the end of the day.
My mechanic didnt like the Sinaster kit. He said mine wasnt fitting correctly. He didnt put it in... He took my EGR Cooler out and welded the plugs in both ends. Cheaper Plus big brother would never know if they look for it. IMHO it works better....
I have the Sinstar Delete kit it works awesome. I left the EGR valve in the hole in the intake manifold for inspection at the emissions center. I have had great service fom all the people at MKM Customs who does makes Sinistar
