EGR Delete Kit

I am looking to install an EGR Delete kit on my 2004 6.0L. Any recommendations on a specific brand? I have no intentions on selling the truck so I want to put the best available on the truck.

Also is there any side effects that could come from installing this kit?

If this kit is installed is there anything additional that I need to do?

Thanks

Welcome to FTE SBarish Main objective is ease and price, replacing the oil cooler would be a nice addition since you will have the truck torn down.

do you have the round cooler or the square cooler.
imo the fail rate of the round cooler does not justify the expence

I had the round style cooler and it took a dump.. I installed the first Coast Diesel EGR Delete kit on my truck. It is a little expensive BUT it is hands down the best quality kit out there..

Great EGR Delete Kit...

I know the 6.0 motor is pretty much guaranteed to have an EGR problem at some time. The question is, what to do about it.

On my 2005 F250, the problems started at around 60,000 miles. Luckily I noticed mine early.

I fixed my kit with the one from www.custom-diesel.com I compared the product to the big names and the quality is every bit as good. The only difference that I did notice was that it was about half the price....

Regardless of WHO you buy your kit from, it is a good idea if you own a 6.0 to have this done.
