79 Supercab
Good morning all,
I plan to remove cab from by 1979 F350 supercab. What is the best way to remove the cab and how much does the cab weigh?
The cab has been stripped of the doors and interior.

Only a suggestion, I have seen it done several way but with the least damage like this. Once everything is a seperated (mounting bolts, all wiring, anything that would slow you down...) jack the cab up from underneath and lay some 4x4 even 2x4 would work across the frame rails to keep the cab of the frame. This would give you the space needed for forks from a lift or maybe a skid steer. Just test the wieght first before lifting it all the way off. And please be careful, your health and the trucks depend on it. Hope i helped,
