Winter fuel

question for you:
Is it common to lose 2-3 MPG when it starts getting cold out?

yes, i lose as much as 5mpg in the winter, it sucks i know

I was just pokin a little.....

BUT , just so happens I just today hand calculated my first tank of fuel post tuner (SCT SF3) running the canned "performance" tune which I think adds 150hp and ??80?? Ft lbs of tourque ? Anyway I calculated it at 15.987 mpg mixed driving and that includes idling for roughly 3 hours at the shop (don't ask) and also it was my first tank with the tuner so I was definitely a little heavy footed.... Haha

Sounds good Exbow! Are u doing that studded? Im not complaining now, just seeing if im in the normal. A little more than 2 MPG I have noticed lately on my last couple fuel ups.

Yes Sir.... Studded . I'm going to run another tank on the performance tune so I can average between the 2 and then do the same with the Economy tune. I'll keep you posted.
