UHAUL Injection Pump

I purchased one of those UHAUL Injection pumps folks were talking about on this website. It seems to work fine however it leaks fuel from somewhere? I notice it on the valley pan. What should I do?

Try drying around the IP, the pan, the injectors and anywhere else the best you can with a rag or paper towel. You need to figure out where it is leaking from beofre you can determine the way to fix it.

I'll try drying things to identify the specific leak location however the consenses seems to be a shaft that runs thru the pump??? I did install new O-rings, T's, and hoses between each injector.

The first place I would look is the injection lines. Sometimes they don't seat 100% or are not tight enough and will leak. Start with drying the valley and the underside of the pump. Start the truck, let it idle a few minutes and then stick your hand under the pump and feel if the injector line nuts are wet. I know that sounds dirty but some times you have to do what you have to do.

To add to eaton's suggestion, turn the truck OFF before reaching around any injection lines. Never test for high pressure leaks with body parts, use paper instead. High pressure diesel (or hydraulic oil) can be injected directly into your skin. Once in there, your body can't absorb it and infection sets in. Supposedly amputation is the medical remedy.

Soo.... do like the others say, dry off the valley pan real well. Then put a sheet of plain white paper under the pump, turn on the truck, and see where the leak shows up. If you can't get the valley pan to clean, you could put a plastic sheet, or foil under the paper to prevent contamination from the bottom of the pan.
