i got a 01 f150 4x4 5.4L titan, i start to act up so i replace afew bad coils and plugs then a water leak start where by the heater hose which meant i had to take the intake off, now i kno nothing go in the intake for sure. but its rattling when engine is running enough to make it loud and shake the truck. this is my first all electric truck basicly so any ideas? cuz the troubleshooting stuff points to the alternator but i just dont see it causing the whole truck to move
.....A heater hose leak would have possibly let coolant into the third and or forth cylinders right under the hose connection at the fire wall. This will cause the motor to missfire.
.....Codes should be present for the cylinders that are missfireing.
.....Remove the coils and blow out the plug 'wells' in the head with compressed air till you feel they are dry of coolant, then remove the spark plugs and wipe them clean.
.....Re-assemble the coils with the specified grease sealant inside the boot tips.
.
.....I hope you did not take the whole intake manifold off for a hose leak unless it was for some other reason.
.....As for any other issues with the alternator, come back with more info.

Good luck.
rattling can be from water leaking into one cylinder from a bad intake manifold gasket. Im not sure from the short details exactly what you have right now. Does it clear up after running for a couple minutes, or constant vibration.
