Remove intake

I have a miss on cyl 4, When i take the spark plug boot off the spark plug bore is filled with anti-freeze on the bottom. someone had said that it is probably leaking bertween the head and the intake. Does this sound right? I checked the coolant tubing that runs over the 4th cyl and it was tight and also seemed dry. is there a good way to test where the anti-freeze is coming from. If i need to replace the intake gasket how much work will that be? It is a 97 4.6.

sounds suspecious being #4 rear cylinder ? Normally that is leakage from the heater hose fitting above the motor... Manifold will leak external or internal, should be able to see if it is leaking out. Normally dont leak into the spark plug hole from the manifold, it has to leak outside, then run into the hole.... I would be very tempted to put a bottle of copper bars leak head gasket sealer into the system and try that for a fix.
