I have antifreeze leaking into the #4 spark plug hole. It's a 98 f150 4.6L 170k. I used an air compressor to blow out the hole but when it runs about 10 min it start missing again. I was wondering if anyone has any ideas? Intake or head gasket?
i agree. I have a 97 with 276,000 and at about 200,00, its did the same thing. It was infact the heater hose. Mine was leaking where the hose goes onto the intake tube. I just took the compression clamp off and put a regular hose clamp on it.....took care of problem.
Thanks for the info I thought that may be the problem. It's hard to see back there and I watched for a while didn't see any leak. Sounds like a cheap fix I'll start by replacing the clamp. I just wanted to check and see if I was missing anything. Thanks!

It's not the coil. The 98's didn't have coils yet. They still ran wires.... If it was a 5.4L it might have them. Pressure test the radiator system and watch it after u get about 15 psi of pressure for any leaks around that area....
