e40d broke

i have a 94 7.3l non turbo with the e40d auto and it is losing a lot of fluid but it is coming from the top of trans. i know that my transmission is screwed i was just wondering where the fluid is coming from

There is a vent on top of the trans, I would suppose that is where the fluid is getting out...

did you recently overfill the trans?
are you sure it's not coming from the front pump seal?
