I ended up buying a O-ring from McMaster Carr for that adapter that goes to the turbo. The factory square O-ring didn't seal.
This is the ONLY thing I don't like about the intercooler setup.
I believe the company that makes that v-band adapter also sells it in aluminum, so I might TIG an aluminum adapter on the turbo.
Either way, been running it since 2011? No problems with the used intercooler from the junkyard and no problems with the 3 inch silicone couplers falling off that curved intake spyder I welded up.
What did you use to make the blue rubber mount? skate board parts? LOL that is what comes to my mind. Where did you get parts? I need to do this this weekend.

Sway bar drop link poly bushings work great, and are cheap.....
Truck got a face lift. New front fenders, Factory red paint, new bumper, chrome grill and head light bezels, clear lights (might put the amber lights back on, not sure yet).
Truck doesn't get used daily anymore but still runs great!
