batter

I have a 97 f150 xl 4.2v6 manual. The battery it had was a 56 battery. Is it ok to put an Interstate mt-65 in it? Will it cause problems?

If it fits in the hole and the cables clamp on, just about any battery will be o.k. Small motor like that does not need a lot of cranking amps

Yes. Truck/ motor only uses as much battery as it needs. If battery is twice as big, thats just reserve capacity.
