I have the both the Battery Tender Jr and Plus. The Plus does a good job on my diesel with two batteries. The Jr is just too small, in my opinion. I used to use it on my wife's car, but now it has been demoted to jet ski duty.

I just read the customer reviews for the plus model on the link you provided. Might be a good idea for you to do the same. Looks to me like the customer service has something to be desired.

Check out Battery Minder. Many reviews that I have read suggest they are the best currently on the market.

12v Battery Charger, Battery Desulfator, Battery Maintainer, Charger

Well I ended up ordering the CTEK 3300 maintainer/charger along with a Marinco plug so I can just plug an extension cord into the truck itself. Its all supposed to be here Thursday so this weekend Ill get it all permanently mounted. Based on what I read I think the CTEK is very comparible to the battery tenders most are using. Ill keep you updated on the install.

I just installed the Deltran Battery Tender Plus in my 05 6.0 EX. I tucked it between the drivers side battery and the inner fender (fits really good and it sits upright). I ran the power cord down to the drivers front bumper area so that all I have to do is just plug it in when I am done with the truck.

I replaced my previous Interstate batteries with two Die Hard Platinum AGM batteries. Now the EX cranks right up. No more lag when starting.

I use the battery tender plus. Made a 12V socket adapter. Just run it through an open door, plug it in and close the door on it. The tender sits on the floor under the driver's door so I can see status easily.

that is 'cause they are the best available.
i have two of them, and they will pull stone dead
won't take a charge batteries out of the trash.

i have a $300 50 amp oddesy battery charger that won't
do what the battery minders do.

I recently bought a BatteryMinder #2012. No long time experience yet, but looked at a lot of different options before I chose this one.

I also bought one off of his advice, seems like a quality unit, great instructions, in English only. Big plus. I used it one time so I can't really vouch for it yet but it sure did charge my batteries
