conversion 3 speed from tree
Hello all. I just bought a 66 f100 and need to know where to find a bracket for the shifter. 
Someone has converted the shifter to the floor from the tree and the bracket that hods the shifter in place has broke so I need to get that part so mabie I dont have to buy a whole new shifter kit please help...

You can pick up used ones and parts of used ones at swap meets, but a new Hurst will go for under $50.00 on eBay. There will be other brands as well. Be sure to get the Pickup Truck model. I reluctantly installed one to get away from what had become a pretty sloppy "tree" speed, and it works fine. A little too close to my knee in first if I have to stop quick, though. (One of the disadvantages to being tall).
