Duralast is now producing in the USA?
About a month ago I bought a Duralast intake manifold and was stamped made in the USA. I was bit surprised and skeptical but today I bought a Duralast starter and same thing stamped on the starter Made in the USA. Did China name a city USA or is this legit? If so who's Duralast supplier and if this is true I'm going to start buying more Duralast stuff.

Just be careful with rebuilt parts. The item may have originally been built in the US so the case is still stamped that way, but the rebuild might have taken place elsewhere or with products made from elsewhere.
Intake manifold is likely US made if stamped that way. But I'm guessing by another 3rd party who just private labels for autozoo and others.

I just installed Duralast Gold rotors and brakes on the front last week.
Getting tired of getting poor items and service at Advance Auto. Their prices are climbing and they won't always price match, though they claim they will.
I really like the rotors and we have a quality manager at our local store.
Finding out they have more stuff Made in USA? Awesome!!!
