Running temp
Hey all, new to the forum. I have a 2000 Excursion. V10, 4x4, 6" Lift and 325/60/18 Terra Grapplers on it. I haven't really paid attention to it because of it NOT being cold in SC until recently. But do excursions run a bit cooler then most Suvs? The temp gauge shows a bit under half. Not sure if i should replace the thermostat, but it seems to be blowing warm air on my frozen toes in the morning. Anyway, just thought I'd ask around! Thanks!

mine is also a 00 v10 and to me it seems like it about 1/2 to 2/3 the way where the middle of normal should be. i have changed the stat and no change. it has been down into the 20s and havent had a problem i am looking in to checking my fan clutch and make sure it isnt running all the time.

The dummy gauge on the dash doesn't give you an accurate indication of the actual temp. It will basically just let you know if it is warming up and if it overheats.
