How fast does your trans temp get to operating temp?

Mine seems to take longer than stock gauge. I am running a autometer ultra-lite gauge.

Whats is your normal running unloaded temps?
Thanks

Braxton

Since the Autometer is a REAL gauge you're finally getting the truth--LOL. My factory "gauge" will get to operating temperature very quickly while my autometer is never above 100. Depending on ambient it usually runs around 150 in the winter and 165/170 F* in the summer with temps in the 90's. The cooler does have a thermostat that's supposed to be around 185*F.

Mine is around 145 all the time. I would not worry until it got to about 200. Then I would pull over or slow down. What ever it took.
