Does anybody regret buying the 6.2?

And wish they had chosen the Ecoboost motor instead? If so, why?

Or is everybody with a 6.2 happy with their decision?

Happy beyond words...love the beast!!! The question should have been asked in reverse... (just kidding).

Seriously though, I love my 6.2...but am VERY disappointed with the overall Ford quality of the new F150's compared to previous iterations of the F150 (2008 and older)...just my opinion.

What kind of MPG are you guys getting in the real world? (And are you 4x2 or 4x4?)

Maybe I'll get more responses by posing a different question: Does anybody with an Ecoboost wish they had purchased a 6.2 instead?

Getting about the same with mine...same configuration. Btw, nice to hear and feel the roar when you step on it, wouldn't you agree? It's intoxicating...but I think I will need new tires soon.

Love the growl, it's been a very impressive power plant. The ecoboost sounds like a good motor as well, but the 6-2 even sounds mean at idle.

I don't understand what you're trying to say here. You would expect higher numbers?

Mileage is actually very good with the 62....however I didn't buy this monster based on fuel mileage. It's a truck after all...

You got a mouse in your pocket there fella? Sorry to disappoint, have taken some long road trips and get 550 miles out of a tank at highway speeds. I was surprised (ecstatic might be a better word) at 17. Now bear in mind a slight head wind will knock this back .5-1 mpg.

I guess we all know if one believes the lie-o-meter, then one is being mislead. Need to check mileage with gallons used the old fashion way to get an accurate result. Mine is about 1 MPG different from actual. you would think the computer would get it right.

Agreed, it's got a few pretty colors in it, but that's about it. I always hand calc.
