97 7.3L, Still leaking after new parts...

Hi there. I'm currently working on a 97 Powerstroke and I have replaced the fuel bowl, fuel pump, and all hoses on top the motor. I am unfortunately still seeing fuel puddling up on top. My first thought was that the lines from the banjo to the heads seemed loose, but they are completely dry, as are the hoses I just replaced. What other parts can there be up top that could leak fuel so fast? I'm talking at least a pint of fuel in 10 minutes. Any help is greatly appreciated. Oh, and all the new parts were factory replacements. Thank you.

Dave

Did you get a new fpr with the fuel bowl? If not have you checked it out good? That's quite a bit of fuel to leak out without being able to see where its coming from.

Welcome to fte Dave.

Actually, when we got the fuel bowl, everything was included. FPR, Water seperater, heater, wiring. It was pretty much a plug and play type of deal. I guess I'm wondering, because I'm used to working on big rigs, but is there like another part after the pump where the fuel goes through before it goes to the injectors?

I can't think of anything else that could be leaking. Sounds like you replaced everything. I'm sure you've already checked that everything was tight ten times already but that is all I can think of. See if you get more ideas later from others.

Lid is tight. And thanks to everyone, but it turned out to be a false alarm. Apparently what I saw on top was from reinstalling the bowl and the drops below were just old fuel blowing off from the fan. I took it out for a nice 30 minute test drive today and I don't see anymore drops. Thanks again!

Haha, yeah, the pint per 10 minutes was actually prior to any repairs. I had just assumed that since it still appeared to be leaking that it must have been the same issue. Just glad it's done!
