Wow. We need to have a "well adjusted mechanic" award or something. I would have expressed my displeasure with the kid entirely too loudly. Good for you.

At least the kid was outside and offering to help, instead of inside glued to a computer or x box thingy......like most of them are.

Do not say anything about me being on the computer at 10:49 Fl time. I went in at 07:30 and got a new DOD ID card and took an early lunch, so there.

BTW I do not have to go back in this afternoon, hahaha I am laughing with you.

Ok enough reading getting caught up on the FTE gossip. Feeling better here, finally. Got up early sunday morning to learn that it was going to be a looonnnnng day. Must have found one of those lovely 24 hour stomach bug. Both ends fueding at the same time.
All better now, and checking on "The List" looking for some Eclipse parts to help Tim get his "project" car together. That is his request for some Christmas items.
Has finally warmed up to a whopping 33 degrees..... Hope your ready for that stuff Rich. Need to see if Penny can mail you some warm clothes to PA. Your gonna want them pretty soon.

Unk Bob

Well its not like I only packed Bermuda shorts and tank tops. LOL I am going to Iraq after here and it does have a little cool season, so I have a few things to keep me from freezing.

Just not really packed for upcoming PA weather and snow, as long as there is a wally world, I will not freeze to death.

And since you are buy those rattle cans to "HUFF" ya might as well get you some crack cocaine too and enjoy that while you are thinking about painting my FADED RED bronco pink.

I hear your little comments, ya ain't sneaky har de har har.....

Oh yeah, no Christmas lights this weekend, the truck ate up all the time. Looks like I have time to test them this week and then hang them this coming weekend.

As i read the comments by the huffer it makes me think about the cliche'...revenge is sweet but payback's a bizitch.". I dunno if I'd mess with Rich too much, when he's home, he has all the time in the world to be ornery. You might find cat poo on your catalytic converter or Armor All on your windshield.

Ok maybe not his new nickname, but that was funny to me. I am sure he is screaming at the top of his lungs "NO.....anything but HUFFER!!!!!

ROTFLMAO

Maybe bag breather? Don't huffers use a paper bag to contain the poison? Of course my first thought when I hear huffer is them polished aluminium thingies some call superchargers or positive pressure intake manifolds.

Don't ask me, how would I know, ask the CL he sounds like a resident expert on the subject.

JK, I think you are right, or spray certain paint on cars without a respirator, right?

Last time I did that was ages ago and it was lacquer, made me sick as a dog. Since then I use a respirator, even when mixing paint. The lacquer buzz was something else though, I was wired for sound.

ARRGH!, that makes me cringe thinking about it. Talk about a bad morning when you find that!

Well, the scrap run wasn't too awful bad. I estimated $1.90 higher than what I got. Pretty good actually. We got caught up on a couple bills and enough left to gas up the vehicles for the week. At least the sense of emergency is relieved a little.

I'm disabling my truck too. I'm taking the steering gear box out and throwing it through Auto Zone's window. This weekend, I'll go find me a manual steering box for my truck. I've had it trying to make the power steering work.

Hello there back Brian, how have you been?

Alan some money is better than not enough. And doesn't Auto Zone have a chebby parts buy back program, I mean they sell a bunch to those guys to get them home at least.

Maybe try a saginaw pump off a econoline van? I hear that is a better pump than the other ford product line.

I don't think the Chevy pump is the problem. The box keeps sucking air from somewhere. They all do. The system just keeps getting air bound for some reason. I'm done with it.

I started to rant and rave, but then realized that it wouldn't change anything. We both learned (the hard way) to look at the label before pouring.

Not a bad day today. My shoulder and this cold weather doesn't get along too well, but that is to be expected.

Stay Warm!
