Heater Core ISSUES

My father-in-law has a 97 f150 with the 4.6 L and he has nothing but trouble with heater cores leaking the original lasted about 120000 mi. after that its been about every 4 months he has a new one put in. Coolant has been flushed recently so I think we can rule that out. I am wondering if there are cores out there that are better than the others and also if you guys have any suggestions that could help me out Thanks for the input

I got one from a radiator shop, that or OEM. Don't go with the autozone/big box brand. Their warranty isn't worth the amount of time it takes to pull the dash 3/4 of the way out!
