P0678 and no cold start
My programer is throwing a p0678 code (#8 GP circuit). I turn the key to on until the glow plug indicator goes off and try to crank it. It will crank for about 6 seconds and then fire for a split second and die.
Would one bad glow plug cause the truck not to run in colder temps? Been waiting on my block heater cord to come in to help on colder nights but hasnt shown up yet. If the truck sits with the sun beating on the hood it will eventually start and run rough at high idle till it warms up and it runs fine.
Thanks!
It could be GPCM or just the GP

But I really think it could be your FICM check the FICM volts

Pulled the FICM and made the solder repairs. All back together and it fired up like a dream!!! Still got the P0678 code so I will see how it fires tomorrow morning when its cold.
