Intermittent no start help
My buddy's truck is having intermittent cold start issues. He has an 05 that will crank up to 10 seconds without starting after the glow plug light goes out. He shuts the key down and cycles the glow plugs as normal and it starts.

Any ideas what it might be?

I'll tell him to see if he can get it scanned....I'm assuming at the dealer?

Mines doing about the same thing but have to cycle it 4 or 5 times. No codes at all. Has happened 3 times in 2 months.

It is not that hard to check FICM voltages while you wait on getting the codes read.
