Forgot to plug in my truck yesterday ....
Got in this morning, she fired and ran for about 15 secs and died. I plugged it in at 8 am and temps are still below freezing. Needless to say it still won't start. Has the fuel gelled in the lines? Should I wait until tomorrow when it has warmed up and try again? Help!

I would leave it plugged in for awhile , and go try to start it.
Their were a few times that I didnt have my truck plugged in , and it got damn cold out. At first try the truck would just sit and crank , really slowly. The thing that seems to work on my truck is to cycle the glow plus. Turn the key to the on postion , wait for the "wait to start" light to go out , turn the key to the off postion , then repeat. Do this a few times then try and crank the motor. If you keep on repeating this , the truck should start eventually, and when it does start , it will surge violently until it finds it idle.
Replacing the stock batteries with Optima yellow top deep cycle units will help in the cold starting dept. bigtime.......

Cummon Guys my buddy has an 86 F-350 6.9 diesel wrecker that will start below0 not being plugged in and I have a 2000F-350 PSd that will start all the time every time. Nomatter what the temp, just run good fuel and make sure the glow plug system is up to snuff.

turned out to be water in the fuel, I added conditioner and left it plugged up all day. Drained the water from the filter and after 15 secs of cranking it fired, billowed smoke and then quit smoking to run just fine in a couple of seconds. It started just fine this morning, and everything is up to snuff mechanically and electrically. Just danged water!!
