For those "unsure" about something like how to add someone to your "IGNORE" list...here's how.
1) Hit your 'User CP' link
2) On the left side of your screen you will see a bunch of option headings...under the "Settings & Options" select "Edit Ignore List"
3) On the next screen that come up You will see a dialog box titled "Add a Member to Your List... "
4) Type the members name in that dialog box...if it happens to start with G...you're on the right track.
5) Click Okay and enjoy.
This is not meant as a personal attack...only helping others that may not know how to add someone to the ignore list...it is much easier to "Ignore" someone than getting in public debates that requires the Mods to get in the middle of and are of no useful value to anyone...using the IGNORE feature is the right way to go folks...!

I will add this note:
Another highly useful option is to check in your user preferences to see how "Post Notifications" are set up. They can be:
1) Sends a notification that pops up when you login
2) Sends the above and also an E-mail (bad choice, I think personally)
3) Automatically adds any thread you post in to your subscribed threads/forums folder(s)
4) Or you can cancel one or all of these options, IE: set it up so that you have to specifically subscribe to whatever thread or forum in order to add it to your folders, etc...
FINALLY -
Another option available is to unsubscribe
On the left menu under subscribed threads in the USER CP you can DE-SELECT a place like this, as I have done
It's down towards the bottom of the list, for good reason
