*This post is more historically accurate than I will ever admit

A merry little man
With merry little eyes
Explored the reputation thing
To see what was inside

At first he thought it was a thing
So serious indeed
He stayed the heck away from it
Afraid, what it might breed

And OH YEAH it was perilous
There were some dirty deeds
'Twas taken far too serious
As far as he could see

Up there in the northwest were a crowd of grinning souls
Who felt their reputations granted rights to be buttholes
And many were the Admins who just did not like the smell
"If this keeps on this whole website, will surely go to hell!"

And so the battle lines were drawn
Like Forces Laid in Siege
~and so the Merry Little Man said;
"This just should not be..."

In his own perception
'Twas a comical thing indeed
For pseudomyns were always used
By persons never seen

"I have a name that's not my own...
It's all that people see.
Even MY OWN avatar,
Is not a pic of me..."

And so the Merry Little Man set out to change a world
That he could see was really made of simply written words.
"I have no time for trolls and such, niether does my girl"
"Unless they are amusing, even if they act like turds"

And so he backed up very far and thought the whole thing through
When he did that what he saw was we are me and you
And I don't always understand what you try to tell me.
It helps if I can really 'get' the things you say to me...

But we have different backgrounds
Just like our different trucks
Sometimes being so different
Can really, really suck!

But in the end an idea came!
If You and I are NOT the same

We can "agree to disagree"...

There's Dutch and his poetry again. I believe you and I have "Agreed to disagree" in the past. Way too many folks on FTE don't believe in that philosophy. Some folks just take themselves way too seriously.

Fortunately...the vast majority of F'ers can discuss things intelligently and "Agree to disagree"

I guess I'll have to REP you for that one!!!

1) When you get OFFline, you are still you

2) Online is not reality, unless it is your livelihood.

3) If online is how you make your money - you still have to come home and eat

4) Some think that a computer allows you to hide and speak your mind- incorrect. Any PC can be found. THUS: We are not really annonymous

5) Because of that, it was important to me personally to represent myself just like I am, not a "HIDER"

6) Because I knew that I REALLY DID WANT to meet real people - I have never faked who I am - some day they who I talked to online would see me face to face.

~and I want to cruise around and get to know EVERY ONE OF YOU some day, when I can afford to

~Who knows, maybe it will take a Jersey Girl I never met to put me back together...

My video post had more to do with the words/title "Bad REPUTATION" than it did for Joan Jett...but I'll go with where the group took us! LOL...
