Anyhow it was a long one under the hood today. And then wouldnt you knwo it I go to put everything up and the dang rear window would not roll back up. No noise or anything.
So I tryed a rubber hammer blow and pushing the up button at the same time and there she went.
Ha sounds good hu? Not really I had totally stripped the whole door down and removed the plastic and was about to grind off the rivets when the hammer blow came to me.
Glad it worked. Well I just threw everything in the back.
Really its a little funny now that I look back on it. You know your getting about done for the day then that happens and so the comment was WHAT THE @#%*^*!!! now . So if that ever happens to anyone, remember the hammer before the stripping and the prying.
I agree if the motor does not make any noise but sometimes you can get them fixed by replacing the plastic bushings inside the roler head. You can get the bushings at Oreillys or Autozoo....HELP brand. When you get in there they will be crushed into several pieces.
I agree. I think I will just unplug it for now. Last time I did a window motor I used some short bolts instead of the rivets. This ones gonna have to wait for a while.
Checked that rep board "its bounceing around like a rubber ball" the ole board will get intresting by the end of the month. I would guess 50 points could change positions on a few right now including myself.
