Rep history
CampspringsJohn, hate to see you are "getting out" at least drop in on the threads from time to time. Enjoyed our conversations. PM me from time to time. I never try to tell anyone what to do so each to his own but you'll be missed my friend.
Always keep in mind y'all can come and chat in Md's b/s thread.
If you want to bring Bruce back to the thread, just start telling democrat jokes! hahahahaha
If you ever venture east of the Mississippi, you need to let me know!

Now consider this, say for instance you need advice on a subject and you receive it from someone and it works you send him reps. The next week you have another issue this same person gives you the correct solution. Since you have not repped anyone but him in the last week you are at least 3 days from giveing him a rep again thats if you rep everybody you run into for 3 days. So using this theory one must keep the reps flowing in order to rep someone who is helpful.
So if you use the rep system one should spread the reps at the very least quit often. Most people tend to stay in the same forum. This page started off the Excursion Fourm and as all know it is the smallest fourm on FTE.
So the question is should we keep the reps and not use them or spread them daily. If you keep your daily alotment of reps and don't use them they are usless. If you spread them at least you know they will be replinished the next day. Just a thought on my part. But the way I see it is what good are reps if they arn't used?
Unfortunately, I have to leave and go to a funeral. 2nd one in 2 weeks. The one a couple weeks ago was a good friend whom I learned a lot from. Working on semi trucks, and guns! The guy knew more about guns than I will ever know. He would have been someone to match wits with Blueovalranger! A great guy.
Todays is the father of a good friend of ours. A Vietnam Vet, farmer, truckdriver, farmer, heavy equipment operator, farmer. Did I mention he was a farmer? He will be sorely missed. His daughter will have to make some huge decisions on what to do with the farm. Before his hair turned gray, he would put on a top silk hat and people thought he looked like President Lincoln, beard and all! This will be a tough one tonight.
The GOP not so much.
