Mileage question

i have a 96 f250 xl. it has the digital mileage counter. the truck says 65,000 miles but it dosnt look like there is enough room in front for another digit. do these trucks show into the 100,000's or just 10,000's

so you think they would all go into the 100,000's or just select models

Should show 100K + regardless of model, I believe the odometer clusters are the same.

ok cool thanks guys. it looks like it could fit another digit but it will be tight. it just seems like there is more space on the right side where the 10ths are for example
[ 65,000.0 ] i just thought if it would fit 100,000 the number would be more centered thanks for the responces

If it's digital, it'll have the capability for 100,000+ miles on the odometer. The older trucks with the mechanical gauges rolled over at 100,000 miles.

These go to 399,999 then rollover to 300,000 then go up to 399,999 again, over and over, for as long as the truck lasts......

Yep, American model 92+ trucks had a 6 digit odo.

Here in Canada, we had 6 digit odo's since 1984 in Ford trucks.

Just out of curiosity was that just trucks with destinations in Canada? My '89 has a 5 digit odo and it was made in Canada but I think it had a NM destination.

Yes it was. As i've seen Canadian made trucks living in the U.S with 5 digit odo's in miles ofcrouse.

U.S made trucks living in Canada have 6 digit metric odo's.

Heres the odo in my 89 F150.

94km is is 58k miles. Has a lil more now.
