Take a standard checker board and begin at square one and place 1 coin on it. On the second square, place 2 coins, on the third square place 4 coins, on the fourth square place 8 coins, and so on, each time doubling the number of coins on the preceeding square.
There have never been enough coins minted in all of history to complete all 64 squares on the checkerboard.

One year I was on a ship that was pulling into a foreign country where the command insisted we have shirts with collars on them, or else we could not go ashore. It was in fact the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
So that it would be fair - they brought merchants aboard to sell shirts that would be acceptable, but they were all much the same pattern of plaid shirt. Nothing like the "Mens Wherehouse" at all.
There was no style to them whatsoever....
So I asked if they had anything else, and was told:

A horse, when grazing with it's head down, can see 360*.
If you approach a horse head on with it's head up, there is a blind spot right in front of the horse for about 6 feet from it's nose. That's why you should approach from the side.
