Did you know that babies don't have knee caps??? Eeewww. Kinda weird huh? But don't go trying to bend yer kids legs backwards to test this. Just grab their knee where the knee cap is supposed to be and you won't find it. My son is 16 months old and still doesn't have knee caps. (That's a fun ice-breaking party topic! 
)

The other day I picked up the skull of a calf that had died the previous winter. I didn't realize what it was that I had at first because it didn't have a skull cap, just a big smooth edged hole where the brain should be.
Well nonetheless I figured it out knowing that calves (and human babies) have hyaline cartilage for most of their bones when they are born. In fact a child's bones are not completely bone until about 4 years.

mattsbox99, for your information, the mentioned hole is called "Fontanelle". It is used to fit the "Baby" through the birth canal. The Fontanelle is getting harder and harder until it's a real bone.

Correct pronunciation has gone so far down the hole - we may have to re-spell the word "NUCLEAR" as: "NUCEULAR" so that even heads of state do not sound like idiots...
The word "IRREGARDLESS" is not an actual word in the english language - it is an invention of a pundit from long ago.
"AIN'T" is another word in common usage that has no actual founding in accepted language.
Irregardless - We ain't found nuthin nuceular in Iraq yet, but 'at there is just a matter O' time...
