removing gauges

I know this is probably a dumb question, but I just want to be sure about it before I do it. I am in the process of removing my three gauges I have on my pillar. They are fuel press, egt temp, and boost. When I remove the egt and boost can I just plug the holes with a bolt of the same size or do I need to do something different? Thanks for your help.

With some thread sealer/thread lock(obviously a "high temp) on the the manifold.....

I am sure you'll be fine putting the bolt in it.
