PYRO, trans temp, boost in that order. Make sure you install the probe PRE turbo too or you're wasting your hard earned dollars. Call us if you want we have been selling diesel gauges since the early 1990's, we'll be glad to help you with questions etc.
im constantly towing heavy and constantly watching all 3 gauges. I know what temps and psi's are normal and if something is too high to low etc.. i know something is wrong. IMO all 3 gauges are needed to determine how hard your engine is working and how cool its staying.
I would rank them the same as MarkDPP, except that I have a manual tranny so the trans temp gauge is less critical. The boost gauge is a useful troubleshooting tool, and it will get the most attention from passengers in your vehicle...they'll all want to know if you can peg it.
I think that they are option alif you are going to leave your truck stock and not pull much of a trailer. if you pull any thing and have an auto trany a trany temp is a must but so is a pyro.. boost is nice but not as critical. my trany temp has saved me mutiple times!!
