Hello <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

I am new to the ford truck just bought my 05 f-250 this year used. I want to add integrated trailer brake control to it. So I order the controller itself from a junk yard in Oregon and hooked it up and the gain won’t adjust. From reading this forum I have also learned that I need a new brake master cylinder because mine has only one wire going to it. See pic. When I get the new cylinder is the second plug close by? Also I noticed some cut wire just above the master cylinder is these them? Thanks for all the help. <o></o>
Those are called pass through wires. If u look on the inside of the cab, you will see the other side of them that look the same. Ford went ahead and provided those wires for any accessories you may want to wire.
Thanks for the info, that is a great idea on fords part. Does anyone know if I need the dealer to program the computer after I install the new brake cylinder and trailer brake control ?
