I have been useing optilube for over a year and this tank full i didnt add any and my soot count goes up much slower and also i see passive regens at around 450 degrees .
Yesterday i drove 50 mile round trip unloaded and my starting soot count was 1.77 and my ending was 1.75 it had creeped to 1.81 both ways but ended up lower than the starting point.
I have never seen that before

How are you seeing your soot count? Do you have a tuner or what?
I buy the large jug (80 oz) of PS DieselKleen at a local (Stillwater or Norman) farm and ranch store for under $12 and usually several times a year on sale for as little as $10; at which time I stock up. I then pour it into my smaller bottles. Week or so it was just under $10 for the Power Services Diesel Fuel Supplement + Cetane boost 80 oz.

You just had Passive Regens going, When I tow a lot, I will see the soot count go all the way down to 1.0 or 1.10% with out an active regen.
Anytime you get your EGTs above 572° and keep them there for a period, You are doing a passive regen and buring off soot.
I agree, most 65 mph empty runs are about 470°-500°. So unless you headed up over a mountain pass or something else that used the turbo, you normally would not see passive regens for that type of driving
