Newbie with Question

I purchased a new 2011 F150 with a 5.0 a couple of weeks ago. After my truck sets overnight and the engine and trans are cold, regardless of outside temp, when the trans shifts from 2nd to 3rd gear it jerks like crazy. After I go a few miles and the truck warms up it goes away until the next day. It only has 600 miles on it and I have to take it to my dealer and leave it overnight. Not really crazy about the shop folks where I bought it. Took them almost a week to find a bad battery cable on a Edge that would die for no reason. Any clue as to what the problem may be? Welcome to the FTE forums.

Sounds like the answer should be fairly simple. If you don't like the dealer go somewhere else.

I think there is a service bulletin to correct the shifting issue.
