Ok well Since the top end was done i decided to turn the motor over and check for leaks around the valve cover and it was dry as a popcorn fart. under the motor is another issue, a steady stream almost from behind the oil filter. Could that be just the oil pan or is there something else back up there?
Let me check for you here in a few but it could be your oil cooler with a hole in it squirting the block (I have a 6.9 hanging on a cherry picker right now I'm pretty positive that it's only the oil cooler on that side and of course the pan lol
well i found where that stream was coming from. If anyone noticed the part number from the oil filter. thats a filter for a 94 powerstroke and not designed for my 93 N/A. since that filter is longer it rubbed on some of my brake lines and caused the lines to eat into the filter and cause it to spring a leak.

thats strange being that i didnt think the brake lines where that close to the oil filter??? I run that filter and when would do the change intervals i never had to worry with break lines being in the way
i too have problems running the powerstroke filter.... won't screw on can't get it tried multiple times.... it bumps into the oil pan so it can't thread on straight so i just run the regular motorcraft IDI filter
