Gasket help!!!

im am regasketing many gaskets on my 400. oil pan, intake, and valve covers. I ordered fel - pro gaskets. i got them in today and a little dissapointed with the cork /rubber gasket. I did further research and found a company by the name sce. there's is a rubber fiber gasket. do you think this would be better than cork/rubber. what are your prefreces on gaskets? my last oil pan gasket leaked bad. so i am need of some good gaskets.

thanks

I've never had a problem with the cork/rubber gaskets from felpro.

Cork and rubber are perfect for oil pans and valve covers. I've done intakes with Fel Pro gaskets before but I can't remember the material.

Cork is fine if you do it right the first time, tighten everything down alright, but they usually only last one time. If you take the oil pan back off for some reason, be assured the cork gasket is no good anymore.

Rubber seals just as good, but it lasts a little longer. You might be able to re-use it 2 or three times.
