Power increase 2000 Excursion 7.3l
The truck runs very sluggish. It develops speed, but I dont feel it accelerate. at 60MPH I push the accel flat and I cannot feel the difference. I travel on a 400HP 2 story bus and you can feel it go (it will outrun my truck lol!!).
I am installing 37" tires and i am afraid it will get worse.
Whats the best option for the money?
gears?
air intake, exhaust, chip?
larger turbo/intercooler?

The first thing I would NOT do is buy a 6.0.
You've got something wrong with your motor. I would diagnose it and fix it. The second thing I would NOT do is put 37"s on it before I fixed it. It would definitely get worse. I mean, seriously?

I would agree that the first thing to do is find out what issue(s) are causing the problem and fix them.
On another note I have a 7.3L Ex and a 6.0L F250. If I had it to do over I would have waited for a 6.0L Ex.
