compass/outside temp gauges

Hey all! I have what I think is a bad compass/temp guage in my over head. when I got the vehicle it would sometimes go out, but being a man,
I would give it a whack, and it would work again............not now though.
anybody have a cheap fix?

Most likely the problem is the module is bad, i just had that with mine. There was a guy on ebay who was claiming he could fix them for like $25 if u sent him yours. Or you could take the route i did and bid on one on ebay, the dealer wanted $300 for a new one, i got mine for $60 with shipping. All i would do is recalibrate it after you install it so it is accurate.
