overhead compass/temp fix

sorry if this has been posted previously.

My over head temp and compass wasn't working ....did some web digging.
came across this from another site.

Thanks for the re-post. Mine wasn't working and the culprit resistor was not evident at all. I put an iron to the ends of all the resistors and reassembled it. Came right back to life.
