For those of you with the offroad packages... Is there a point in getting the fuel tank straps fixed? I figure the skid plate will hold it in just fine, correct me if I am wrong.
So in the last couple days I have encountered a few things that prompt questions that maybe you guys could answer:
What kind of mileage does this truck get while 4x4 is engaged?
I dug into the doors a little to try and fix the PDLs, and realized that I do not have the required tools while I am at school.. What would be a reasonable price to get these fixed at a shop?
Other than that, it seems to be running great. Any specific things that I should check/get checked? I just bought this truck with 150k on it so I am going to do my best to maintain it in order for it to last.

Read the forums and posts every day and follow the thread to the end. Not only will you learn, but you will come across "wright ups" That feature instructions on how to fix stuff with pictures. You learn that there are some people on this site that know way more about your truck than any shop. I am not one of them. You should also use the forum search for any topic. You may have to read a few to get to exactly what you are looking for, but that is not a bad thing. Be careful and read because there are varying opinions on some things. You will learn who is giving you fact and who is giving you an opinion not backed by any test. Do not buy anything because of marketing (K-N filters for example). Looks cool, but may hurt your truck, may not. Good luck
