66 Hood Emblem

66 Hood Emblem

Hello forum, I'm asking if a hood emblem- (catb - 16607- a) will fit on my 66 f-250. I think this ford no. may be a 64 but not sure. By the way, Un enthusiast- they will go to work on you with a blow torch, and a pair of pliers for post padding

any hood emblem from 61-66 f100-f350 will interchange. I believe that the v8 emblem was from 65-66 but someone will correct me if i'm wrong.

99, The 66 came with 2 emblems, the gear/lightening bolt on the 6 banger and V8 on the 352 FE.

I am not aware of any interchange issues.

To complete the F100-350 application...ALL 61-4 trucks had the gear and lightning emblem.
65 and 66 6 cylinders had the same gear and lightning emblem..
65 and 66 8 cylinders had the V8 emblem.

either emblem with fit all years this hood was used...

This is the ID engineering number marked on the part itself, it is not the Ford part number.*

Since the prefixes 2nd digit of A is incorrect (should be a number), I have no clue which of the following two emblems it is.

* There are no Ford part numbers marked on any parts after 1956, just casting & ID engineering numbers...when applicable.
